Fabric and finish
The Mocha Aura Abaya is made in luxury flowy crepe, cut and finished by karigars in our Multan workshop. Both fabrics we use are opaque by design, so coverage never depends on what you wear underneath, and both come back from a wash without needing to be fought with an iron.
Mocha Aura is a deep coffee brown with a warm red undertone rather than a grey one, which is what stops it looking muddy. In daylight the red in it is visible and it reads as a rich chocolate. Under indoor light it deepens and sits very close to black from across a room, so it does the job of a black abaya without the severity of one. It is the most useful of the five if you are only buying one, because brown is the neutral almost every accessory already agrees with. Gold jewellery is made for it. Tan, camel and cream bags all work, and so do black ones. Cream, camel, black and deep olive hijabs all sit with it; a cool blue-grey does not. Practically, it is the shade we point people at for the monsoon, since a mid-brown hides splash marks and damp far better than ivory or rose. It reads correctly at a daytime dawat, at a nikkah, and on an ordinary Tuesday, which is not true of maroon.

How the Mocha Aura Abaya fits
Order the Mocha Aura Abaya by your height, not your dress size. Up to 5 feet 2 inches takes S, 5 feet 3 to 5 feet 5 takes M, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 takes L, and 5 feet 9 and above takes XL. The body is cut loose through the chest and hip, so height is the only measurement that changes the fit. Every size is Rs. 6,800.

Is the Mocha Aura Abaya opaque, or does it need a slip underneath?
The Mocha Aura Abaya is opaque as it comes and needs nothing underneath it. It is cut in luxury flowy crepe, which is lined or dense enough to stay solid in daylight, so what you wear under it is your own clothes rather than an extra slip. If you hold any abaya against a bare bulb you will see the weave, which is true of every fabric and is not the test.
Does the hijab come with the Mocha Aura Abaya?

Is the waist belt in the photos included?
No. The belt in the Mocha Aura Abaya photographs is styling only and is not in the parcel. What ships is the abaya and its matching hijab and niqab. We say so plainly because a belt in a photo is the single most common thing customers expect to find in the box and do not.
